City Palace, Udaipur

Set on the side of artificial Lake pichola, this massive complex house’s a meuseum, hotel and is the home of the Royal’s of udaipur. Earlier the chittorgarh was the home of the royal’s but then they moved to Udaipur by Maharana Udai Singh Ji in 1553 and it was built over a period of 400 years and that’s reflected in the Palace complex. It is a huge structure with fine work of art everywhere.

The part open for general public which is the city Palace is just a small part with great works of art and designs. In the palace complex one can enjoy a boat ride in Lake Pichola and visit the Jag Mandir a water bourne place on which there is a hotel and resturent to chill in the Lake. The massive Palace is unique and probably the Largest of the Palace’s.
