Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
On arrival, you will be met with your tour escort who will be your companion for the rest of the tour, a knowledgeable local and a courteous friend. Straight to your hotel to wind off the flight fatigue. Afterwards an introduction to your best of India adventure.
Optional evening city tour by car to get acclimated to the hustle of India and browse through the Lutyens New Delhi and stroll near the Arc de Triomphe the INDIA GATE erected in memory of soldiers of the various World Wars.
Day 2
Visit the Qutub Minar which was commenced to mark the beginning of Muslim Rule in India, a tall minaret built by generations of rulers standing testimony to Delhi since the 14th century. Then explore the Connaught place a bustling shopping centre of Delhi. Finally visiting the Red Fort the last seat of power of the Mughal Empire and the monument which is a symbol of Independence for it hosts the Flag ceremony every 15th August Indian Independence Day. Evening leave for the City of Taj visiting the Akshardham temples en route.
Optional Visit to the National Museum India which exhibits a great collection of Indian art's, paintings and jewellery.
Day 3
Watch the sunrise in love over the Taj go around the wonder of the world and explore at your own pace, experience its beauty passion and charisma. Back to hotel and relax. Leave for Jaipur on the way visiting the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri which was once made as the capital by Akbar - the Great in respect of a saint who bestowed him with a successor to the throne who later erected the monument, Taj Mahal.
Day 4
Set out to the Amber Fort early morning to enjoy an elephant ride to the hilltop fortress of Amber, an amalgamation of Rajput and Mughal style of architecture, unlike the monuments visited until now. In the afternoon to the UNESCO site, a one of its kind solar observatory built by the founder of Jaipur Sawai Jai Singh Ji the solar observatory as precise to two seconds, it also has a unique number of Instruments which calculate as per the moment of Sun. Later to the iconic Hawa Mahal. Night at leisure.
Day 5
Start your day early to catch the glimpse of Indian Tiger on an animal safari at Ranthambore National Park which was once the hunting grounds of the Maharaja of Jaipur now turned into a tiger reserve to protect the rare Bengal tiger found mostly in Asia originating from the western Indian state of West-Bengal.
Optional Evening Safari.
Day 6
Today get ready for the morning game drives in search of the Royal Bengal Tiger along with the exotic wildlife of tropical Indian forest. Optional Visit to the hilltop temple of Lord Ganesh in the Tiger Reserve from where one can have a birds-eye view of the Ranthambore National Park. Evening again spent on the pathway finding the trails of the Ranthambore Tigers. And a great sleep at the Jungle Lodge.
Day 7
Moving forward to the geographical heart of India in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The first city will be Gwalior, the city stood testimony to the various dynasties of Rajput Ruler's from Kachawaha, Tomar and Scindia's built by the great warriors of India the city is dominated by the Hilltop Fortress overlooking the city. Reach the city today and relax for the adventures to come.
Day 8
Visit the hilltop fortress the Gwalior Fort and admire inclusively carved Man Singh Mandir commenced by the Great Tomar ruler, significant of their interest in art and decorated with colourful tiles, one of the first example of colour use in the fortress. And the 8th-century temple of which only a few sculptures left by the Muslim leaders. And in the evening visit to the Jai Villas Palace Museum one of the lavish palaces decorated to perfection.
Day 9
To to the small town of Orchha which was once the capital of the Bundela Rajputs, it boasts of its architectural wonders which we will visit today namely the Jahangir Mahal which was built to house Emperor Jahangir and has remained abandoned since his visit. And not to miss the Royal Cenotaph which provides majestic view when looked from the other side of River Betwa.
Day 10
Early morning leave to the city carved out of dreams, the Khajuraho Temples are one of the finest work of stone art dating back to 10th century more than a millennium old and in great conditions, the forest cover protected the group of temples from vandalism by Muslim invaders. Enjoy great wonders of Medival India in the city of dreams.
Day 11
Today explore the temples of Khajuraho built in same architectural form but differing on their exterior decoration which represents the joy of life in medieval India, explore the great arts of sculpting from the past which was hidden till the 18th century in the Indian Forests. And be ready for the adventures of the Bengal Tiger.
Day 12
Ready for the last leg of the tour into the wild coming face to face with the Royal Bengal Tigers in the hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Rewa State. Enjoy the ride to the Bandhavgarh National Park which was once renowned for its white tigers which are the most posh of the wildlife for their rare allure. Reach your destination and relax overnight.
Day 13
Travel in the wild with the Indian Beer, jackal, deer and the Indian Tiger in the Bandhavgarh National Park safari today morning. Dive deep into the tiger reserve which boasts of the highest density of Tigers thereby increases your chances of tiger sighting in Bandhavgarh. Relax and Lunch at hotel and after begins the wildlife safari finding the rare White Tigers of Bandhavgarh.
Day 14
Optional - Last morning safari before you leave the land of Indian tiger, ending the tour in on high node.
