Bikaner’s Junagarh Fort has a rare collection of weapons and things from the past at display which makes it worth visiting. Almost 30Km from Bikaner is the most bizarre place in the world – Rat Temple India.

Jaisalmer is the extreme western part of rajasthan. This rigid desert city was confined to the premises of the Golden fort in earlier times, the fort is golden in color and camouflage with the sands. The Gadi Sagar lake built in to supply water to the people is like a heaven for the city.

Day -1

Start with the national Capital and go around the temples and the prominent buildings of the government. Visit the monument Qutub Minar and the optional Red Fort as there are more Red forts you can explore the Mughal-inspired Red Fort Agra which is a better choice. End the day with a walk around Connaught Place and the busy streets of Delhi.

Day -2

Leave for Shekhawati and visit the Famous Havelis to get a glimpse of the history and past painted on walls of the haveli's of Shekhawati India which were built by the rich merchants of the region who travelled to different regions of the country and prospered in their business, all these riches were used up in building great painted Haveli's or Mansions with an open area in centre and surrounded by rooms on other sides, these walls of shekhawati are painted by figure's of Gods and Godesses, Kings and queens, picturising the processions and festivals that were celebrated in the state and many more aspects of the Rajasthan. Leave for Bikaner.

Day -3

Bikaner is a city in the desert well covered by sand dunes on all sides. Bikaner boasts the Junagarh Fort which has the largest collection of Artillery and things from the past which makes it worth visiting, unlike the other forts which are mostly vacant inside except the Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. After lunch visit the other major attraction near Bikaner the Deshnok Temple which is famous across the globe as the rat temple, which is believed to be the favourite animal of the goddess and is well treated and free to roam in the temple. The rats also eat the sweet offerings which are then served to the followers and to date, no record of any rat-infected disease has been found. Faith and Belief prevail in India. Take an evening take tour of the camel to experience the ship of the desert. overnight at the hotel and pack your stuff to experience the Golden City.

Day -4

Early morning after breakfast leave for Golden City Jaisalmer and check in at your hotel. Evening at leisure with a cultural dance show awaiting.

Day -5

Today explore the Golden coloured Fort of Jaisalmer which is a living Fort with more than 3000 residents. The Fort features delicate work of carvings which can be seen on almost every inch from windows to pillars and balconies each place is decorated. The Fort complex has restaurants and shops since its a living fort so you can enjoy lunch at the Jaisalmer Fort. Later we go on a jeep/camel safari in the desert.

Day -6

Start on your journey to Jodhpur the "Blue City" you will realize the name when you reach there. Relax in the afternoon, before we head to the Mehrangarh Fort and Palace which is situated on a rocky hill overlooking the city of Jodhpur which when viewed from the fort seems to be painted blue. Also, visit the Jaswant Thada cenotaph made of white marble with artistic decorations.

Day -7

Leave for Jaipur. In the evening visit the Amber Fort by night. And drive through the city. Night at leisure.

Day -8

Start the sightseeing with Hawa Mahal or the honeycomb maze structure, then to the Jantar Mantar a one of its kind open-air observatory. Walk to the City Palace right beside the Jantar Mantar along with the temple of Govind Dev Ji. Lunch at hotel, and evening to explore the local bazaars or to the Gaitors which were erected in memory of the former Rulers of Jaipur.

Day -9

Time to bid a bye as you continue to Delhi.
